SQL Server installation

The information below is intended for IT administrators - SQL server administrators who will be installing MSSQL for PREMIER enterprise.

The MSSQL installation is standard and does not require special settings, rather recommended settings.

First, ensure that the operating system is set to CZ LANG, see the image below (the entire OS does not need to be in Czech, but just set correctly for "Region").

We will choose the type of basic installation and select the components that are necessary for IS PREMIER.

During the installation, we will also choose how the MSSQL services will start. And what the "COLLATION" will be.

Who will be a member of the "sysadmin" group and where will the database for IS PREMIER be stored?

After installing the above, before installing SQL Server Management Studio and restarting the entire server, we will set up and verify the configuration using "SQL Server Configuration Manager".

The services run under NETWORK SERVICE and all protocols are active.
