Transition to a new – different server

If you are transitioning to a new, more powerful server within your company, where the IS PREMIER will be operated, you can simply copy the existing directory \PREMIER\ from the old server to the new one. We recommend that after copying the directory to the new server into a folder at the root of the disk, for example C:\Ekonom\Premier\, you set and overwrite the permissions on all files and subdirectories in the parent directory \Ekonom\. Sometimes these do not inherit on the server. If the new server will also be accessed as a terminal service, it is necessary to install supporting visual libraries and encryption algorithms for sending data to government offices, health insurance companies, and similar entities. You can start the installation with the file "Setup_ocx.exe," which is in the main directory \PREMIER\.

Transition to a new – different personal computer

If you are transitioning to a new computer within your company or in your personal (home) environment, before you ecologically dispose of the old computer, copy the entire directory \PREMIER\ to an external device (USB drive, Flash drive, etc.). You can then easily copy everything back from the external device to the new PC. This way, you will preserve all data, including settings, permissions, and so on. The same rules apply on the new PC as mentioned in the paragraph above about the new server. If the old computer cannot even be turned on anymore, you can download the entire installation** from our website,** which contains the entire PREMIER IS including the latest updates. After installation on the new PC, it is also necessary to register the program with valid registration details. If you do not have them at hand, our staff will provide them to you on the HotLine. If the program is newly installed and subsequently registered, it is necessary to create a new – empty accounting unit, into which we will restore the backup that we have stored elsewhere than on the old PC. If you have not made any data backups or if all data backups are on the old PC, which is already out of operation, please contact your IT specialist or computer service. In most cases, data can be recovered (paid service). Therefore, we strongly recommend backing up data and storing it always outside the work computer.

New personal certificate or transition to a new computer with the existing certificate

If we have a new computer, we can export the existing certificate from the old one. It is possible to export in Windows: Control Panel – Internet Options – Content tab. Here is the button "Certificates." We select our certificate and click the "Export" button. After exporting, this file can be loaded as the import of the new certificate on the new computer.

On the new PC, we already have the certificate installed, and now we just load it in IS PREMIER in the Manager module – User Preferences – Options for network, printing, export, and using the "Electronic Signature" button, where we select the option "Load from center."
