1.5.3 Disconnecting users from the server
Users can be effectively disconnected from the servers in two ways. It just depends on how they are connected to the server, or rather, how data is initiated from it.
Terminal Connection
Users are connected directly to the server and thus run the program locally from the server.
It is possible to disconnect these users via the "Remote Desktop Server Manager" console.
By right-clicking, you can disconnect any user from the server.
File Sharing
Another way is to disconnect a user who is running the program over the local network. For this, we will use the console "Shared Folder Management" (Share and Storage Management).
In this console, you can disconnect a specific user from all shared resources or just from selected resources that they currently have open.
The first image shows an example of disconnecting a user from all shared resources. The second image shows an example of disconnecting shared resources from a user.
All the above procedures require Administrator rights and can be performed from the server environment from which the resources are shared.
