1.5.2 Mass upgrade
A mass upgrade (conversion of databases of selected accounting units to the current version) can only be performed by a SUPERVISOR or a user who has the authority to create new accounting units. No one else may work in the program at that time.
The duration of the mass upgrade for 100 accounting units is at least 1 hour!
"Mass upgrade" is available in the list of accounting units under the option "Statistics, mass functions".
We recommend performing a mass upgrade when there are multiple accounting units in the program and if the classic update includes the module "Database Upgrade (see the image below)".
After selecting the "Statistics, bulk functions" option, a screen will appear with a list of accounting entities and an offer of additional functions.
Here you need to choose "Bulk upgrade".
The following is a dialog for selecting accounting entities where the upgrade is to be performed.
The list will include those accounting units where the upgrade has not yet been performed.
Upon clicking the "OK" button, the user will be prompted to create a security backup of the units in which the upgrade will be performed.
Clients using the PREMIER Outsourcing service do not need to make deposits!
The following is a notification that the bulk upgrade may take some time, which needs to be confirmed once again.
After that, the program will sequentially perform the upgrade of the selected units and display information to the user about the duration of the upgrade.
If the classic update includes the "Database Upgrade" module and a "bulk upgrade" is not performed, the upgrade of accounting units will be carried out automatically each time the user gradually enters the selected units, which can significantly delay work.
