1.5.1 PREMIER program upgrade

The "UPGRADE" action offers the opportunity to download a new version that includes technical and legislative changes valid for the relevant period. By purchasing the upgrade, the client gains:

  • the right to update this version for one year with the possibility of downloading all updates responding to changes in applicable legislation and technological and functional improvements of the program from the internet,

  • the right to receive consulting services via telephone hot-line and email,

  • the possibility of addressing inquiries through online support (TeamViewer),

  • the right to increase the loyalty discount by 12% (except for those who have already reached the maximum loyalty discount of 42%).


Upgrade Pricing Conditions

Each upgrade fee is calculated at 27% of the total sales price of the program, including the price for extending additional licenses or modules. In each subsequent year, the purchaser is entitled to a 12% discount on the upgrade price in the first year, with the maximum discount being 42% of the upgrade price in the first year. If any upgrade is not paid, the purchaser loses the right to all accrued discounts. This amount does not include the fee for implementing new versions.

The above provision does not apply to contractual partners for whom regular upgrades are directly stipulated in the license agreement.

Payment Terms

Along with the new version, clients will receive a proforma invoice, while contractual partners will receive a final invoice with a payment term of 14 days. Immediately after the proforma invoice is paid, all clients will be sent the final invoice – a tax document.


Registration Codes

Registration of version X9 is fully automated. After upgrading to version X9, a new registration code will be automatically retrieved from the licensing server. The registration dialog will no longer appear; only the registered program will launch.

You will load the code into the system using the "Load from licensing server" button.

 

If the option is not active, you will need to enter the code manually (it must adhere to its 4-digit format). The code is printed on the invoice/receipt for the upgrade.

The first code for the new version is always time-limited. After paying the upgrade fee, the extended registration code will be automatically retrieved. If automatic re-registration does not occur in time, the system will start notifying you about the expiration of the registration code before it expires.

Reasons why automatic re-registration did not occur:

  • you have not yet paid the upgrade fee,

  • the automatic code retrieval is not working, and it will be necessary to enter it manually.

You can perform manual re-registration in the running program through the top menu "Tools - About PREMIER system/License Registration" - "License Registration" - "Do you want to re-register the program?" - "Yes".




Installation of version X9

The installation of the new version takes place through the new option "UPGRADE to version X9". If this option does not appear, it is necessary to first perform the standard PREMIER update! (located in the same menu). After this update, the UPGRADE to version X9 option will be available. (The PREMIER update is now carried out completely automatically, simply by clicking on the Update function, without the need to confirm additional steps.)

Installation from the main menu

Click on the "UPGRADE to version X9" option and confirm the following "Update" prompt. Everything will proceed completely automatically. Before the prompt, a notification will appear that this is a new version and the new registration code will be automatically loaded from the licensing server. If you have a network application, the installation can be performed from any station. However, it is recommended to do it directly on the server. Exit the system. If you have a network application, check in the "Internal Messages" module that no one is active in the program, meaning no one is logged in and working in the program. This can also be checked in the Administrator module – Logged-in users. If all users are logged out, you can proceed with the update itself. A new option "UPGRADE to version X9" will appear in the top left corner of the "Start" menu.


Installation using the installation file from www.premier.cz

If you run the installation "Setup.exe" on a computer or server where a previous version of the program (from version X3) was installed, the installer will automatically recognize that PREMIER is present on this computer and will offer you a simpler option to install the new version.

By selecting and confirming this option, the installation of the new version X9 will start, and everything will be updated automatically. If during the year the server or computer on which the older version was installed has changed, the installation can also be initiated through the downloaded "Setup.exe"; it is only necessary to specify the path where the program will be installed. So we will enter the directory where the PREMIER system is currently stored.
